- Grewia tenax, crossberry / small-leaved white raisin -

||Naraka||nais is a many-stemmed shrub which can grow up to 1.5 metres high. Its distinctive four-globed, orange-yellow berries are a delicious bush food. They can be eaten immediately, but can also be stored for a longer period. The ||naraka||nais shoots are strong and straight, and the best ones are selected for making arrow shafts.
